Project Manager (Research Projects) .
Kidney Research UK’s Research Unit is responsible for driving forward our research priorities, including managing the charity’s research funds, delivering collaborative research projects, developing our relationships with the kidney research community, statutory funding bodies and other charity and industry partners, and engaging with patients.
We need an excellent and committed project manager to join a fantastic team.
Position: Project Manager
Location: Nene Hall, Peterborough
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience

About the role:
We have brave and ambitious plans for the future and we need a highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic team player to join us. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring delivery and maximising the impact of complex, collaborative research projects.
The teams include Research Project Managers (who manage the operational delivery of the projects), research leaders, funders (including industry partners) and Trustees and expert advisors (involved in the Governance of existing and potential projects).
You will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the charity.
Reporting to the Director of Research Operations, you need to be confident and assertive, with the ability to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis from project initiation through to delivery and completion. An aptitude for collaborative working and can-do problem solving is required.
You may have experience of the following: Research Manager, Not For Profit, Trusts Manager, Fundraising, Grants Programme Manager, Business Development, Funding, Bid Management, Tenders, Project Manager etc.
