Stevenswood are a dedicated uPVC and Aluminium window, door, glass, conservatory and accessory supplier to trade, helping our customers do business from 37 UK trade counter branches across the UK. Part of Customade Group, the fastest growing company in the UK fenestration industry with over £125m annual turnover, we now have an opportunity for an Area Manager to manage and lead 3 branches in our South East area

Hours: Monday-Friday (no Saturday trading)

About the role:
You will be responsible for ensuring that your branches perform and achieve their potential in terms of sales, margin, service offering and operational standards. As a natural leader you will use your fantastic people skills to coach, support and inspire your managers to enable their teams to consistently deliver branch KPI targets and business plans.
Identifying and addressing under-performance as necessary you will drive sales activity, build relationships with key customers and oversee all aspects of the operational performance of your branches. The branches are currently Reading, Portsmouth & Hailsham, with plans to grow the branch network in 2020.
Experience gained in the uPVC Window & Door sector is essential as is significant management experience, with multi-site management experience being highly desirable. You will have excellent commercial acumen and be highly proficient at budget setting, P&L management, KPI management and have a demonstrable track record of growing sales.
The successful candidate will have strong people and leadership skills, excellent communication skills and be organised, tenacious and driven in approach. A valid driving licence and comfortable with regular travel is essential.
