Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025.
The successful candidate will be part of our award-winning mass participation events team, sitting within the wider fundraising directorate. As a team we work to grow, develop and innovate mass fundraising products. We aim to provide the best possible supporter experience to increase signs ups and income, to ultimately support more people affected by dementia. We are looking to recruit a Senior Corporate Account Executive to be a key part of driving our exciting work forward, helping us deliver our ambitious target to raise over £11 million in 2019/2020.

Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £31,392 - £36,326 (depending on location)

About the role:
Alzheimer’s Society’s mass fundraising events continue to grow from strength to strength with Memory Walk and Cupcake Day featuring within the top 25 mass fundraising events in the sector in the UK. To continue and maximise on this growth we are looking for a Senior Corporate Account Executive focussed on sponsorship to sit within in the Mass Fundraising Events team solely focussed on corporate sponsor partnership management and delivery.
The role of the Senior Corporate Account Executive is to lead on the corporate sponsorship partners for Memory Walk and Cupcake Day. You will manage, coordinate and deliver on these exciting partnerships to achieve our income and acquisition ambitions from these events.
Reporting to the Head of Mass Participation, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to be part of a truly exciting and growing team to build on your excellent account management experience, and truly make your mark in this rapidly expanding national charity.
Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you’ll be able to think strategically, creatively, and follow through with your ideas to delivery quickly.
Experience in managing corporate sponsors in events would be ideal and experience in working across multiple internal stakeholders is essential.
