About the role: 

Derbyshire Constabulary is undertaking a number of strategic change programmes to ensure that they can provide a high-quality policing service for the people of Derbyshire, both now and in the future. As part of the Business Change team, this role is responsible for defining and drives the delivery of the key cultural changes required to successfully embed the business change to ensure the Force achieves its change strategy, goals and objectives. 


-Working within the Business Change team developing change management plans for the successful roll-out of new processes and technology, including the development of leadership engagement plans that ensures the buy in and support of leadership across the organisation. 
-Facilitate sessions with stakeholders and the innovation change network to gain support for change, listening and responding to feedback appropriately, identifying risks and interdependencies to the project’s successful delivery. 
-Deliver specific activities such as conducting stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments and readiness criteria, developing a change management approach and strategy to meet the stakeholder needs. 
-Working closely with communications departments, to plan and develop an effective communications strategy that delivers key messages to encourage engagement and adoption. 
-Develop and deliver training plans to ensure that employees have the skills and capabilities to fulfil their roles within the context of the change program. • Identify key cultural changes required and develop and drive engagement activities required to ensure successful adoption. 

About you: 

-Degree-level education or demonstrable equivalent work experience. 
-Proven experience of working in a Behavioural and Cultural Change role. 
-Demonstrable experience of assessing the change maturity of an organisation and identifying the challenges, both from a cultural and behavioural perspective, needed to fulfil objectives. 
-Proven experience of collaboration, influencing stakeholders and managing relationships. 
-Proven experience of interacting with and influencing executive level stakeholders. 
-Proven experience of interacting directly with end users and third-party suppliers. 
-Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrable understanding problem solving techniques. 
-Demonstrable experience of using different change management techniques from successfully embedding change and mobilising a workforce from a business-end users / customers perspective. 
-Proven experience of working in a change management environment. 
-Strong planning and organisational skills, working to time pressured deadlines
