Position: Control Room / Customer Service Operator 
Location: Enfield, Greater London 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 36 to 48 hours weekly, based on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off to include days, nights and weekend 
Salary: £9.50 to £11.50 per hour depending on experience

This role is critical in supporting our day-to-day frontline operational workforce. A typical day in our busy control room would be looking after our Guards welfare while at work, monitor Guards arriving in good time for their shifts and ensure any identified gaps in rosters are covered in good time. You will provide support to the Guards via telephone or email on a variety of day-to-day matters. 

Also key in this role is keeping all the Contracts Managers informed regarding any concerns raised in the control room or, unusual activity reports, for their sites. This could be via telephone, emails or writing up incident reports. 

About you: 

- Customer services experience within a call centre or control room dealing with volume calls and enquiries 
- Maintaining a database for accurate and real time activity recording 
- Experience of composing emails and preparing incident reports 
- Written and oral communication 
- Telephone techniques 
- Highly skilled in report writing 
- Fast navigation of database / IT packages 
- Dealing with difficult people
