About the role:

We are looking for an Events Coordinator to support in researching, planning, delivering and evaluating an annual programme of public facing events. These events support people affected by dementia across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Alzheimer’s Society Roadshow takes dementia awareness and information right into the heart of communities. We visit town centres, hospitals, out of town shopping centres, summer fairs as well as music festivals, country shows and PRIDE events.

Working with the Senior Events Officer you will provide excellent administrative, logistical planning support and be integral to the development and delivery of this varied portfolio of events to ensure its continued success.

About you:

You will be well-organised and self-motivated; you will have a great eye for detail and be genuinely committed to improving the lives of people with dementia. You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable managing your busy workload as well as working as part of a wider project team.
