HR Advisor 

The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children’s Air Ambulance which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Our objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with our work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies. 

Position: HR Advisor 
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire 
Job type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract 12 to 18 months 
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience

The role of Senior HR Advisor will be working closely with the Head of HR delivering Employee Relations advice and operational business partnering to the organisation. You will be responsible for owning and delivering resolutions across all stages of ER activity and level including complex cases. Another element of this role will be to develop the technical expertise our wider HR team upskilling them in time to be able to also manage all aspects of Employee Relations. 

Working within the HR team you will work closely with the wider function ensuring that all priorities within your part of the function are aligned to the wider strategy. 

About you: 

The role holder will have a CIPD qualification or be able to demonstrate experience at this level. You will be able to manage ER cases end to end ranging in complexity, whilst having a wider support network in the team you will be confident in your ability to work autonomously in terms of decision making. Whilst not essential experience of mentoring and developing other colleagues will be beneficial within this role.
