Property Income Manager .

About the role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Property Income Manager will provide expertise and specialist advice on all aspects in the recovery of leasehold and shared ownership arrears to Great Places Housing Group and lead on ensuring a consistent and co-ordinated approach across all Customer groups.
Take ownership of the Leasehold and Shared Ownership arrears policy and associated policies to ensure they are up to date with current legislation and that working practices are in line with group policies. Ensure the prompt and efficient recovery of all unpaid shared ownership and leasehold rent and service charges in accordance with lease or legislative requirements. Work in partnership with the Customer Services Directorate to recover outstanding arrears of service charges and shared ownership rent due promptly whilst maintaining excellent customer service including preparing cases for First Tier Tribunals (Property Chamber) and routes of recovery through legal processes.
The successful candidate will be qualified to minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths and qualified to IRPM or equivalent Housing Qualification or working towards. You will have experience of Leasehold and Shared Ownership debt recovery process including procedure for possession and forfeiture. You will also have experience of communicating with mortgage providers and Mortgagee Protection Clause.
Additionally, you will have knowledge of current legislation to include Leasehold and recovery of associated debts and its protocols and knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law. You will be competent in the use of full range of Microsoft Office. You must also have the ability to work flexibly and when needed outside normal working hours and possess a full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
