Position: Event Organiser 
Location: Edinburgh 
Job type: Part Time, Permanent 
Hours: 18 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays although flexibility will be required. 
Salary: £10,000

About the role: 
The proposed working pattern for the role is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays although flexibility will be required. 

Responsibilities: 
- Assist in the implementation of the events programme. 
- Take direct responsibility for managing programmes of events and / or training events to ensure we maintain a high quality of service to customers working closely with business managers and external contacts to ensure all actions are being undertaken in line with agreed service standards. 
- Take sole responsibility for the organisation and administration of specific events as directed by the Event Team Leader and Senior Events Organiser. 
- Liaise directly with customers as and when required to negotiate practical support arrangements for delivery of on-site training and / or open course programmes. 

About you: 
We are looking for a part time Event Organiser who has strong organisational skills and experience of event management preferably within a public sector / professional institute environment to join our friendly team based in the Edinburgh office. The ideal person will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels within the organisation. 

You may have experience of the following: Events Officer, Public Sector, Not for Profit, Third Sector, Business Development, Events Management, Events Coordinator, Events Assistant, Events Executive, Event Administrator, etc.
