About the role: 

You spend the whole year looking forward to your annual holiday, a time of relaxation and no worries around fares, tickets or destinations. When a combination of hotels and flights is involved though, things can sometimes change and that is where our Sales and Retention Agents come to the fore; ensuring that if any issues do arise, bookings are retained, and our guests have a memorable holiday experience. 

Due to the fast timelines we have in place, we can only accept your application if you can start with us on 17th June 2019 and don’t have leave booked during our peak June / July 2019 period. 

About you: 

You have worked within travel so know how the industry works. You can quickly think of solutions, for example when hotels change their availability, and are probably familiar with Amadeus (or another global booking system) but if not, can pick up new systems quickly with training. 

You are self-motivated and target driven; familiar with selling ‘hotel only’ and ‘flight-plus’ holidays plus a range of other ancillary products, to customers in the UK and overseas. Your knowledge and experience of a variety of holiday destinations enables to you advise with potential customers with credibility and authenticity. 

You are used to working to tight deadlines so can manage your time well and thrive when having lots of different challenges to prioritise and complete. You know how to keep professional when dealing with tricky customers and enjoy working as part of a busy team. You also have a good knowledge about worldwide travel destinations and keen to learn even more.
