Position: CMM Programmer 
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37 hour per week, rotating shifts AM / PM; Alternating shifts ranging from 06:00 / 22:00; Overtime availability 
Salary: Between £14.21 to £17.34 per hour + 10% productivity b to £19.07 per hour average over a month

About the role: 

We are looking to recruit a skilled CMM Programmer to join our existing team of engineers in our Loughborough facility. As a CMM programmer you will be responsible for the set up and completion of all work carried out on the Coordinate Measuring machine (CMM) & Multi Sensor CMM. 

You may be required to use other inspection tools such as; shadow graphs, Vernier callipers, micrometres etc. This role involves the use of MCOSMOS, PC-Dmis & OGP software, you will be required to program these machines, set the datum’s and conduct the inspection compiling all relevant documentation such as; First Article Inspection Reports. 

About you: 

- Experience of programming and operating Mitutoyo / PC-Dmis / OGP CMM 
- Excellent understanding of drawings, dimensions and tolerancing 
- A minimum of two years’ experience in programming complex geometry 
- Must be able to work on your own initiative in a busy engineering environment 
- Good communication skills 
- Experience of working in the Aerospace industry would be an advantage but not essential
