Fundraising Manager .
The British Homeopathic Association, founded in 1902, is a charity focussed on enabling the public to have greater access to homeopathy. To fulfil this aim the charity has in the past few years developed five charitable clinics (with more in development), grant funded other clinics, research projects and educational activities. The charity is the UK leader in provision of information about homeopathy.
Position: Fundraising Manager
Location: London (Home based with a visit to the office twice per week)
Job type: Full Time, 12 Month Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £33,000 to £36,000 per annum
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced fundraising manager who will develop, coordinate and implement an innovative and effective fundraising strategy for our small but dynamic national charity.
This post holder will be responsible for spear-heading the development of an ambitious fundraising strategy which will focus on not only the short-term gains but medium and long-term sustainability of the charity.
This position will require a senior manager with expert communication skills, who is highly organised, energetic, enthusiastic and independently motivated. Moreover, you will have experience in managing multiple projects, motivating others and working well with a wide variety of people across communities and groups.
The expectation is that the post holder will raise significantly more funds than their annual salary and create a pipeline of funding that would keep the post viable on a permanent salary basis.
