Established in 1999 and located in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside we are a well-established software business in the recruitment industry (we provide our own software but also advertising & agency services). We turn over £6-7M pa & have about 60 staff. We like to think we have an excellent reputation and a great working environment – hopefully you’ll be able to judge this for yourself. 

Your new role? 
We are currently looking to appoint a friendly, articulate, customer focused & technically competent Application Support Engineer to join our technical team. Once you have learnt the ropes with our product you’ll be tasked with leading the support of our more complex tickets & acting as the liaison between the support & development teams … mostly 2nd line activities really. If you’re able to provide some direction & leadership to the team then great; there’s certainly scope for this role to develop in to a management/leadership position if that interests you. 

What we are looking for: 
Ideally you will have a background working in a similar position but we are primarily looking for someone who is awesome with customers & who has solid technical skills in application support (SQL being the key thing really). To gel with team you’ll be energetic, have a positive attitude and a focus on problem solving. 

We’re based in a bunch of converted barns in a tiny hamlet called Strixton. Strixton is roughly 5 miles south of Wellingborough on the A509. Our current staff come from Northampton, Kettering, Bedford, Rushden, Olney and parts of Milton Keynes.

Salary wise we’re looking in the region of £25-35k plus excellent benefits.
