Centre Manager (Nights) .
St Elizabeth’s is a nationally renowned centre for people with epilepsy and severe learning difficulties and other complex needs. Located on a beautiful site on the Essex / Hertfordshire borders, it is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive community of residents, service-users, and staff providing a home, specialist education and co-ordinated, multi-disciplinary care and therapy to around 200 individuals.
The Centre comprises of three core services; a school & Children’s Home for children aged 5-19, a further education college for young people aged 18-25 and a residential care home for adults. Operating from a single site, St. Elizabeth’s provides a 24/7, 365-day service to residents (adults and children), college learners and school pupils.
Position: Centre Night Manager
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Stevenage, Cheshunt and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 44 hours per week over 8 nights: 4 nights on, 4 nights off (11 hours per night 8:30pm to 7.30am with 30 minutes paid break).
Salary: £27,298 to £30,136 inclusive per annum

About the role:
We are looking for an exceptional manager to join our dedicated night teams. You will work alongside another Centre Night Manager providing 7 day a week cover on opposite shifts. You will also work closely with our on-site professional nursing team and our night care staff, as well as ensuring that essential connection between what day shifts and night shifts do.
You will have experience of working in a care setting and understand the specialised support that people with a learning disability need to reach their full potential. You will need to be an effective team leader, comfortable working across professional services. You must also hold a QCF Level 3 in Care or RMA Level 4.
