About the role:
Are you an experienced and skilled senior finance professional who enjoys working for an innovative and growing business? Reporting to the Finance Director, the Head of Financial Services will be instrumental in the effective financial management and reporting of the Group, both internally and externally.
You will be responsible for producing the full set of Group statutory accounts including calculating and allocating overheads for internal and external reporting. You will also take responsibility for management accounts reporting to directors and executive, production of statutory and regulatory financial returns and setting the consolidated group budget as well as ensuring robust systems of financial control.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification and have management experience within a finance setting, ideally within a regulated environment, able to show both strategic and operational management skills.
You should have significant experience of preparing Group accounts and maintaining systems of financial control, as well as experience of manipulating large volumes of data for multiple scenarios. Strong IT skills and proficiency in excel and report writing are essential.
You must be able to travel between sites and to meet external commitments which may include working flexibly and when needed outside normal working hours.
