Why work as part of our Tesco sales team?
This is an opportunity to join an innovative sales team full of energy, drive and passion. You will make a real difference by taking an active lead on one of our largest accounts and building key relationships with both the Branded & Retailer Brand buyers, a key part of this role is to drive NPD and product innovation to help build on a what is already a fantastic partnership.
What does your typical day look like?
Every day is different at Burton’s Biscuit Company. One day you could be onsite with the Tesco team, the next you might be speaking with our talented NPD & R&D team about new product launches. Later in the week, you could be looking at costing & forecasting with the wider Supply Chain & Finance teams and later you might be working with our Category & Insights team.
One thing is, no two days will ever be the same.
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
You will need to have previous experience working at a SNAM level with a large supermarket retailer; it is highly desirable that candidate have senior experience working with Tesco’s previously.
Final part of the mix:
Experience of driving NPD within a retailer brand category is essential. You also need to be in our St Albans office at least 3 days a week and able to travel to Tesco’s Head office in Hertfordshire as required.
