Location: Leicester with travel in the Midlands

Salary: £Competitive basic Salary, Commission after qualifying period plus car, laptop and phone

About the role:
Due to internal promotion, this role has arisen to generate and develop new business, whilst maintaining and growing existing client relationships. You will manage all aspects of customer spend, in line with set annual budgets and business objectives, with a focus on quality service.
The role of Business Manager will be mostly out on the road visiting customers or potential customers, with a few days a week at Leicester head office working with the sales team.
- Manage and develop customers to a set budget, monitor performance and maximise spend potential.
- Work proactively with the Internal Sales Team to review existing accounts, monitor activity and progress business.
- Carry out planned customer visits to maintain and develop business by promoting our products and services.
- Maintain in-time reporting data on CRM.
- Influence, maintain goodwill and build strong relationships with all departments.
This Business Manager’s sales area includes the counties of Leicester, Bedford, Warwick, Lincoln, Cambridge and Northampton.
You should be confident in generating new business from new customers to Oadby Plastics as well as able to maximise existing customer spend. It goes without saying you will need to self-manage, with excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of sales and business development within an industrial / distribution type business would be beneficial, ideally with some internal sales involvement.
