Salary: £36,326 actual per annum

About the role:
The Senior Events Officer plays a pivotal role leading on the development and implementation of Alzheimer’s Society’s public facing events programme, which provides expert dementia advice and information to wide range of audiences, as well as supporting our campaigning and fundraising activities.
Alzheimer’s Society’s public facing events programme takes dementia awareness straight into the heart of communities from high streets to festivals to cultural shows. These events are a key marketing channel and you will play a central role in helping Alzheimer’s Society achieve our strategic ambition of becoming the ‘go to’ organisation for people affected by dementia.
Working with colleagues across the Society, you will project manage the development and delivery of this exciting portfolio of public events and play a leading role in ensuring its success.
You are highly organised and self-motivated events professional, who is creative, a confident communicator and genuinely committed to improving the lives of people with dementia. You will be comfortable leading and working as part of a wider project team delivering multiple events and have proven experience of building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The role calls for someone who is able to work at a senior level with expert knowledge and experience in the management of various types of public facing events, such as a programme of Roadshows or promotional events.
