About the role:

You will be providing support with the care of a 19 year old young woman with an acquired brain injury within her home. You will provide assistance to the cline’s parents with the care of their daughter and to take sole charge overnight. This will include turning, changing, administration of medication and undertaking intimate care needs. Moving and handling is also required. You will promote our client’s wellbeing and support in implementing therapy programmes as advised by her therapists.

About You:

The key skills required for this post are to be flexible, responsible, enthusiastic and sensitive to the needs of the family. Experience of working with young people with an acquired brain injury is preferred, however, individualised training will be provided.

Additional hours will be available to cover holiday and sickness.

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
