The purpose of the Data Marketing Administrator role is to provide support to the wider Data Marketing Team which in turn enables the Fundraising teams to achieve their aims. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to get a foot into the Charity sector in a data related role 

You will work closely with the wider team on a range of activities including data extracts for our fundraising activities, reporting on campaign performance and advanced analytics. 

As an entry level role there are excellent development opportunities, working for one of the most highly rated charity brands in the UK, and the chance to gain experience working with our recently implemented Salesforce CRM. 

About the Team: 

The team sits within our Direct Marketing team but works with all fundraising departments to produce data extracts for fundraising activities and provide analytical and reporting support to ensure that the fundraising activities are as effective as they can be. 

We aim to work as value adding partners to the fundraising teams - enabling them to raise as much money as possible whilst also delivering an exceptional supporter experience. 

About you: 

You will be looking for your first role in Data Marketing, either following an undergraduate degree that required an element of numeracy and / or data handling, or with the aim of building on your recent work experience in a data led environment where you used a CRM. You will also have a solid understanding of good customer experience, and be able to apply that to a fundraising environment. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Have experience working with large data sets and using a CRM Database (Salesforce will be a real advantage) 
- Be able to demonstrate your high numeracy through qualifications and / or relevant work experience 
- Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Table, Lookups, Conditional Formatting etc.) 
- Understand what makes a good customer or supporter experience. 

The ideal candidate will also have: 

- An understanding of how databases work from a technical perspective 
- Experience of working in a fundraising environment
