About the role: 

The Finance Officer will manage and produce Income and Expenditure accounts and budgets for Service charge customers and Leaseholders. 

You will assist in the efficient running of the finance department by providing support to the Management Accountant in the performance of his / her duties and in the provision of an excellent service to the management team of the Group and its subsidiaries. 

About You: 

The ideal candidate will have book keeping experience to control reconciliation level or above and experience of producing Income & Expense accounts. Thorough knowledge & understanding of double entry book keeping and ledger maintenance is essential as is the ability to undertake control account reconciliations. You will also be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and computerised financial packages. 

Knowledge of leasehold accounting, month end and reconciliation procedures and experience of producing budget statements would be desirable. Previous experience working in the finance section for a Registered Social Landlord would also be an advantage. An NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or studying towards. (E.g. AAT, Bookkeeping) would also be preferable as would knowledge of ‘Open Accounts’ package.
