Support Worker / Care Worker (Charity / Learning Disabilities) .

They currently have vacancies for Support Workers in their Hertfordshire and Essex service, working full time shifts on a rota basis (37.5 hours per week) in the Bishop’s Stortford area.
No experience is required for these roles - life experience and personal values are more important and full training will be given.
Position: Support Worker
Location: Herts & Essex – Bishop’s Stortford Area
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (FT positions available)
Salary: £8.29 - £8.85 per hour (dependant on successful completion of probation and completing NVQ Level 2)

About the Role:
As a Support Worker / Care Worker for Hft, you will enable the people they support to lead fulfilling lives based upon their personal support needs.
No previous experience is required for this role, what is more important is that you have a passion and desire to be part of the social care world, and are enthusiastic about supporting people.
An awareness or knowledge of dementia and autism learning disabilities would be great, however if you have a caring nature, like being around people and can tackle issues with a positive frame of mind, then you are highly encouraged to apply today. This role will involve some intimate personal care.
As they provide 24/7 support you need to be able to work shifts, including weekends, some nights and Bank Holidays. You will also be required to accompany people they support on holidays and attend training courses and other activities.
