Position: Field Sales Business Development Manager
Location: London / Surrounding Area
Salary: £27 - £36K basic plus commission up to £20k per annum (uncapped)

About the Role:
The Business Development Manager is the key contact with existing customers, in a specific geographical territory. The position works very closely with the Head of UK Development, Clinical Support and Customer Support teams to enhance all aspects of the Company’s relationships within the industry. This role exists to promote usage and maximise the benefits of using the companies products for customers.
The Business Development Manager is expected to support the Head of UK Development with high volume sales opportunities within their customer base. Within this role you will be networking with Practitioner and Commissioner level contacts, auditing usage to understand strengths, weaknesses and the likely cause of usage blocks. You will also create and develop suitable training and support packages to meet identified customer needs.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a good level of commercial understanding of public sector structures and processes, coupled with excellent communication and listening skills. Possessing strong presentation technique suitable for small and large groups, you will have the ability to take in, understand, process & summarise large amounts of information. We are looking for a candidate who operates with a consultative style approach offering true value to our clients
You will have excellent account management experience with the ability to grow accounts by developing strong relationship and understanding the clients needs and providing solutions. 70% of the role will be growing accounts that are already customers of the business
Ideally, you will have Social Service / Public Sector sales experience but not essential. Field sales experience and Assistive Technology sales experience would also be highly desirable for this role.
