Hours: 35 hours per week

About the role:
Our vibrant and high achieving Philanthropy team is integral to achieving this vision; seeking support from charitable trusts, foundations and major donors to further the work of the Stroke Association. This Philanthropy Officer role will work across both trusts and individuals with a relationship focused approach. This is a starter role and a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be developed. Knowledge and experience of the sector is important but so is passion for fundraising and wanting to make a difference.
Reporting into the Philanthropy Manager (Trusts), the Philanthropy Officer will take the lead on working with small trusts and lower level individual donors.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and enthusiastic member of the team with great attention to detail. You will have demonstrable related experience and transferable skills in order to successfully engage donors and work with colleagues to secure funds.
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Philanthropy team working with both trusts and individual donors. If you have a passion for Philanthropy and are keen to develop your skills, this is the right role for you.
You may have experience of the following: Philanthropy Officer, Philanthropy Coordinator, Fundraising Officer, Fundraising Coordinator, Major Donors, Partnerships Coordinator, Third Sector, Charity, Charities, Fundraising Assistant etc.
