About the role
We are looking for a well-motivated and experienced person to manage our Dementia Support Service in Conwy, Anglesey and Gwynedd. You will manage a team of Dementia Support Workers, who support people with dementia and their carers to identify their needs, help them to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being and to access services.
You should be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will have an understanding of the particular needs of people living with dementia and their carers as well as experience of managing a team. You will have good time management and communication skills and be able to represent the needs of the organisation and clients externally. Experience of record keeping and report writing systems is essential, as is an ability to assess and evaluate client need.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to build effective working relationships and be able to work as part of both internal and external teams.
The ability to converse through the medium of Welsh is highly desirable.
