Position: Community Development Coordinators x 3 
Location: Bristol (1 post in South Bristol, 2 posts in Central Bristol)

About the role: 

Bristol Dementia Partnership is a joint venture between Alzheimer’s Society and Devon Partnership NHS Trust, providing the Dementia Wellbeing Service across Bristol. This is a service that supports people with a diagnosis of dementia to remain as well as possible, for as long as possible, in their own community. 

We are looking for 3 Community Development Coordinators to work within the Dementia Wellbeing Service based in one of the Hubs across Bristol. You will be based in either South Bristol or Central and East Bristol or supporting the education focus across Bristol. 

About you: 

These roles require a person with excellent people and interpersonal skills to work on the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. 

You will be responsible for building connections with key members of the community and other professions as well as finding creative ways to reach isolated groups and promote dementia friendly communities. 

You will increase awareness of the Dementia Wellbeing Service in those groups that find our services hard to access. You will build relationships with local community and religious groups, businesses and organisations, be involved in working with GPs and the wider community of Bristol.
