Currently Chapter 1 works in partnership with more than 35 local authorities and administrative authorities and has a growing network of 50 services across England.
Position: Children’s Support Worker
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 17 hours per week
Salary: £18.516 per anum pro rata including Fringe Allowance
Benefits: 25 days’ annual holiday + bank holidays, Life Assurance, Pension scheme and an Employee Health Assistance Programme.

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Domestic Abuse Services in the Guildford Area for a Children’s Support Worker. The service provides residential support to women and men fleeing domestic abuse.
You will be responsible for providing a range of activities and support to children and young people of all ages.
You will have significant proven experience of working with children and young people. A broad understanding of the dynamics and impact of domestic violence is essential. Applicants need an understanding of and should be in sympathy with the Christian Basis of the Organisation.
A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for this post.
