About the role: 

They currently have an exciting opportunity in their Accounts Payable department in Milton Keynes, working as an Accounts Assistant within the Shared Services team. 

This role offers a great opportunity to be involved in driving improvements and ensuring the delivery of financial best practice across the business. As part of this role you’ll be involved in payments to suppliers, the maintenance of the aged creditors reports, processing of invoices any many other tasks. 

Organisation skills and excellent accuracy are at the heart of this role as you’ll be required to ensure all data and information is valid and correct. In addition, communication skills are a must as you’ll be working closely with the FSSC team and other teams to provide support and guidance on finance processes. You’ll also be proactively liaising with all their different departments ensuring that processes are operating effectively, as well as the businesses across the different UK entities and European offices. 

About you: 

To be successful in this role you’ll have a proven history in a corporate administration role, ideally with in a Finance / Accounts environment. You’ll have good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. You’ll also need to demonstrate your ability to follow accounting processes. 

In addition, you’ll be: 

- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team 
- Resourceful and solution orientated 
- Proactive and flexible. 

You may have experience of the following: Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable, AAT, Finance Assistant, Accountancy, Accounts Administrator, Excel, VAT, Bookkeeper, Finance Administrator, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeping, Reconciliation, Month End, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, etc.
