About the role: 

The Challenge is looking for Customer Support Administrators to join a leading youth and integration charity. You will be involved in a fast-paced Sales Team supporting the recruitment of young people on to the National Citizen Service (NCS). NCS is a government backed programme that helps young people (age 15-17) build skills for work, life and transition into adulthood. The role is a short term, paid position within one of the fastest growing charities in the UK. 

The Customer Support Administrator’s primary responsibilities will be responsibility is assisting in the smooth recruitment and retention of NCS. You’ll be making outbound calls to young people and their parents or guardians, working towards targets and supporting the sales team in the conversion of applicants from initial interest to complete sign up. 

The Challenge is a dynamic place to work and there are opportunities for exceptional candidates to move in to a permanent role. 

About you: 

Successful candidates will have an exemplary telephone manner with excellent speaking and listening skills and experience of working in an administrative position. You’ll be able to communicate and engage with young people aged 15-17 as well as their parents/guardians. High level attention to detail, experience with MS Office and the motivation to work towards target are also key to success in this role. 

An interest in the youth sector would be highly beneficial, as would telesales experience. Any CRM experience, ideally Salesforce, is also highly desirable.
