Position: Store Manager Designate 
Location: Neville Avenue, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S70 3HF 
Salary: £20,808 per annum 
Type: Full Time, Permanent

As an experienced retail professional, you will take pride in your management and problem solving skills in a fast moving environment. You must be self motivated with a pro-active approach to maintaining and improving sales and standards. 

You will be responsible for all areas of store management including: 

People Management – Recruitment and Training 
Stock Control – Ordering and Management 
Merchandising – Implementing and Monitoring Sales 
Budget Management – Wage Costs and Sales 
Planning – Long and Short Term Plans for Sales Improvement 

a) To manage the efficient operation of the store to enable maximum sales potential whilst controlling costs 
b) To lead, inspire and motivate store team to provide unrivalled customer service 
c) Merchandising and correct pricing of products as to comply with current d) legislation and Company procedures and guidelines 
e) Budget Management to includes wage cost and sales 
f) Stock control to include ordering and management of stock 
g) Creating and implementing store initiatives to continually improve sales performance 
h) People Management to include general management, recruitment, training, absence and discipline 
i) Operating Company email software to check and comply with all Company notices, requests and sharing general communications with team 
j) Responsible for store housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the store 
Observing, implementing and upholding all Company policies and procedures 

You may have experience of the following: Retail Manager, Discount Store Supervisor, Store Manager, Retail Management, FMCG, Branch Manager, Wholesale, Retail Team Leader, Fresh Produce, Supermarket Manager, Convenience Store Supervisor, Grocery Retail Manager, Discount Retailer, etc.
