Position: Senior Designer - multiple vacancies 
Location: Plymouth, Devon 
Job type: Flexible working, full-time, part-time 
Hours: 37 hours per week (minimum of 30 if part time) 
Contract: Permanent 
Salary: £34,313 per annum

About the role: 

It’s an exciting time to join HM Land Registry’s digital team. We have ambitious plans to become a world-leading digital registration business and to do this we are increasing our user-centred design capabilities. Working within cross-functional digital delivery teams, you’ll shape the way HMLR’s users interact with its services. 

About you: 

You’ll already have a proven track record of designing user-centred digital services, from early prototypes to complex iterative designs. Successful candidates will have the ability to identify and understand user needs based on evidence. You’ll understand the ways in which users interact with technology and be able to use this knowledge to provide a better service. 

Ideally, you’ll have a degree or further education qualification in a design-related discipline or subject. Familiarity with agile delivery and the ability to distil complex data and information into simple and understandable forms are also highly desirable. 

You may have experience of the following: Senior Designer, User Experience, UX, Digital Design, User Design, Digital Services, Public Sector, Central Government, etc.
