At their recently upgraded site at King George Dock they operate the UK’s largest refinery for edible oils and fats. They supply businesses in the sectors of food manufacturing, baking, foodservice and retail, and they work closely with customers to co-develop bespoke products.

About the role:
Working as part of the Hull Supply Chain team, AAK are seeking to appoint a German Speaking Customer Service Advisor who will be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders and requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. This role will involve communicating and coordinating internally and externally to ensure that each customer receives the standard of delivery service expected.
- Processing all incoming orders by the end of each day
- Processing / authorising all invoices
- Support for Export documentation for specific countries
- Support for Bakery transport reporting and coordination
- Processing received complaints on system
- Arranging transport with freight forwarders
- Master data maintenance
- Coordinating with Production Planning and monitoring warehouse stock availability
- Coordinating with Transport and Warehouse to ensure dispatch of orders
- German language skills to business level; verbal and written
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment
- IT literacy, strong numeracy skills and capable of learning new systems quickly
- SAP experience would be advantageous
