About the role: 

The role of a Support Worker with Affinity Trust involves supporting each person to live the life they want within their community in which they live, to build positive relationships and to reach their potential. 

A Support Worker post with Affinity Trust is a varied and interesting role, which our staff tell us "is fulfilling, fun and offers real opportunities to make a difference to people's lives!" 

They are expanding their team and looking for genuinely caring and hands on individuals to join their team of Support Workers for the Southend/Westcliff area. 

A big part of your role will be supporting people to do their favourite things and try new activities. No experience is necessary as all of their staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support which is fully funded by Affinity Trust. 

As they support a number of people, interests and personalities differ which will add variety into your daily role. 

You would need to give personal care, social and emotional support either at home and/or in local community. Support with shopping, budgeting, building and maintaining relationship with friends and family, household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry. Supporting with anxieties and behaviours that may challenge.
